Are you a small charitable organisation with a very personal story to share?
Do you have full time commitments which leave little time to devote to raising funds for your cause?
Would you like to increase awareness and raise funds in a very unusual way?
If you answered yes to some or all of the above then what I am about to share with you might be just what you are looking for.
Fire Walking Events : Ice (Glass) Walking Events : Charity Challenge Day : Mentoring for Charities : and coming very soon… Poetry for Charities
“I want to thank Bridie for all she has done to make our event so successful and stress free! We have been overwhelmed by the response. The money and awareness this event has raised has been phenomenal. Bridie’s support leading up to the event and during, was invaluable. Thank you from all of the Trustees of Anna’s Challenges” Rachel Marke, Founder, Anna’s Challenges (raised £14,500)
Why work with me? I take the headache out of organising a spectacular fundraising Fire Walk or Ice (glass) Walk or Charity Challenge Event for your charitable organisation. I’m experienced and professional, yet friendly and approachable. From start to finish, I provide an individually tailored service to you, your supporters and fundraisers. For me, it’s all about aiming to exceed your expectations for the overall experience, that’s why I get great feedback and recommendations.
“We’d like to thank Bridie for all her organisation of the Firewalk! This has been a fantastic opportunity for our Charity with the awareness it has brought us. Financially, it will help improve the facilities at Exeter Children’s Oncology Unit, which will benefit families in Devon.” Nick & Lisa Holmes, Trustees, The Olivia Holmes Foundation (raised £6,900).
What will it cost your charity?
Nothing. Here are your options:
- Option one – non subsidised places: participants pay £50 registration fee to take part in the event. These participants are asked to raise a minimum of £100 for the charitable organisation(s) and there are no financial costs to the charity.
- Option two – subsidised places: the charitable organisation(s) commits to contribute £15 per participant to subsidise each place, making the participants contribution £35. Participants with subsidised places are asked to raise a minimum of £115 to cover the subsidy. Although there is a small investment ‘up front’, following successful fundraising, there are no financial costs to the charity.
- Option three – subsidised places through local business sponsorship. Again, there are no financial costs to the charity.
What’s in it for you? All sponsorship monies raised go direct to your cause. Participants are asked to raise a minimum amount of £100 through your online giving page and many often double or triple that amount. Then there is the increased potential for publicity and awareness generated from such a spectacular event. The press, radio and editorial opportunities are even more powerful if the event is scheduled to run during your awareness month (or day).
“I was delighted to have hired Bridie to organise a Fire Walk for BCHA, the whole process went without a hitch and turned into the most profitable event we have done to date. I would be more than happy to work with Bridie again in the future.” Lorna Trent, Fundraising Manager, BCHA (raised £7,000).
